You
can donate your hair,
make someone feel wonderful and it doesn't cost
you a nickel. What can be better than that?
One of the nicest things about hair donations is that anyone can do it.
There are no special skills, or age requirements involved.
What will happen to your hair? There are many things that can be done
with your hair after it is donated.
Depending upon the charity to which you donate your hair, it can become
a wig for a child or adult suffering from alopecia, cancer, burn
accidents, and any number of other conditions
Pantene Beautiful
Lengths - Creates free wigs for women who have lost their
hair due to cancer treatments. Their spokeswoman is Hilary Swank
Locks of Love - Provides hairpieces to financially
disadvanteged children under age 18 suffering from
long term hair loss from any diagnosis.
